Peace On The Street

	Uptown Meditation Center Our mission is to bring Zen practice to the American inner city – applying skillful means to provide core teachings using images and references appropriate to the African American and Hispanic communities. We are particularly concerned with empowering the youth of our community with the freedom and clarity brought about by contemplative practice.


	Ultimate Karate USA We provide a comprehensive program in the traditional martial arts as well as professional level JKD training. Programs are provided for students as young as three and as senior as sixty six. We encourage asthmatic students to join our program and strengthen their lungs.
