	Uptown Meditation Center Our mission is to bring Zen practice to the American inner city – applying skillful means to provide core teachings using images and references appropriate to the African American and Hispanic communities. We are particularly concerned with empowering the youth of our community with the freedom and clarity brought about by contemplative practice.


	Phillipe Nover Coming to Ultimate Karate USA Ultimate Karate will be hosting Phillipe, "the Filipino Assassin", Nover on Monday, July 19th, from 7pm to 9:30pm at 1950 3rd Ave in Spanish Harlem.
