WLF has chosen Sensei Richard
Garcia to be the first recipient of the WLF Innovation and Leadership
Award.
The award honors his work in developing and implementing a model based
upon martial arts and meditation, which provides inner-city youth with a
curriculum that empowers them to make better decisions and overcome
their life circumstances.
The WLF Innovation and
Leadership Award is given to acknowledge the development and
demonstration of better models that benefit society by: |

and relevant to the individual, and |

serving as a motivating force
for people to improve various aspects of their lives so that they
can inspire others. |
World Learning Forum is an educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit which
provides the WLF knowledgebase of best practices within the Eight Major
Systems of the Modern World. It is a roadmap for the different peoples
of our earth to use in putting together local, cultural, and social
programs based upon past successes. The central focus of WLF is to apply
advanced governance science and technology to strengthen the altruistic
aspects of the world's many cultures.
